I’m requesting prayers for my oldest sister who has had a very difficult life ever since childhood. She carries a lot of trauma from growing up and has been separated from a lot of family, including her children. My sister just entered a nursing home, and I pray she will find friends there who care for her, and that she will feel seen and loved even though distance prevents me from visiting her regularly. I’m asking for prayers of comfort in her new living facility, that she would feel God’s presence with her when she is lonely, and that he will restore her scars to full healing. Thank you for praying for her.

Raising teenagers can be many things, but certainly not boring! Wisconsin native Amy Betters-Midvedt would know as she’s currently parenting her fifth teen. We talk with her about her new book, “You’ll Make It (And They Will Too) – Everything No One Talks About When You’re Parenting Teens.” She shares what she’s learned from her experiences, including how to respond when they rebel, communicate with them more effectively, and lean on God for support.
