Central Live began as the worship band at Central Church, one of the largest churches in the United States. With its roots in Las Vegas, Nevada, Central Church has locations spanning across the U.S., Mexico, and Australia, as well as many locations inside prisons through its partnership with God Behind Bars. The mission of Central Live is to reach people who may be far from God with songs written from the heart of Central Church: a place where It’s okay to not be okay. After the release of their first album “Love Can,” in 2014, Central Live has continued to craft their modern pop-rock sound to resonate with, and appeal to, whoever listens to their music. Their sophomore album “Greater,” released in 2017, highlighted the group’s unique songwriting and originality. In December 2018, they released their first Christmas project “Thrill of Hope.” This album included many of our favorite Christmas carols but done in a style that differs from the tradition. Central Live has since released a Christmas EP called “Glory in the Highest” and plans to release feature Christmas projects later this year. In 2020, the band released an EP titled “City of Grace.” The songs on this record perfectly capture the heart of their church, proclaiming it’s okay to not be okay, with the title track “City of Grace.” Recently, Central Live has released their latest full-length album, “Heaven’s On The Move.” They recorded these songs live with their church family in Las Vegas.
“God is doing something amazing in Las Vegas, and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The city of neon lights is becoming a light to the world—shining the name of Jesus throughout our city and beyond. It is our passion to help people that don’t know the God of second chances connect with Him through worship.” -Drew Bodine
