Hi, my best friend had carpals tunnel surgery a few weeks ago and is still recovering. She works as a housekeeper at the VA and requested light duty. Her surgeon doesn’t want her lifting more than 10 pounds for a couple more weeks. Her manager wouldn’t even listen to her and she needed to be at home, not at work. Because of the surgery, she is out of SL and really can’t afford to miss work. She is extremely stressed, this has caused her anxiety and depression to increase. She has reached out to Employee Assistance for help, and applied for Leave Donation Program. She was baptized, earlier this year and is learning about the power of prayer She could really use some extra prayers right now. Thank you.
