My husband struggled with drug addiction for many years. On December 4th he passed away due to suicide by overdose. God has been getting me through this with prayers from many people and me just holding on to him and my faith to get me through each day. God has always worked in my life through music. I’ve heard the song Strong by Ann Wilson many times and recently the words of the song have really meant a lot to me. During this time so many people have said what a strong woman I am and I know that my strength comes from God and nowhere else because I can’t do this without him. Thank you for the uplifting music everyday.

We talk with her about her new book, “You’ll Make It (And They Will Too) – Everything No One Talks About When You’re Parenting Teens.” She shares what she’s learned from her experiences, including how to respond when they rebel, communicate with them more effectively, and lean on God for support.
