Goodbye, Dave

After 11 years of shaping the sound of Christian radio in southern Wisconsin, award-winning broadcaster, actor, and community favorite Dave Conour is stepping away from Life 102.5.

Dave, best known for his warm voice, quick wit and genuine connection with listeners, has served most recently as Program Director and host of Mornings with Dave & Natalie at Life 102.5, where he became a household name to thousands of morning commuters. Over the years, his voice became more than a familiar companion—it became a steady presence of hope, humor and heart.

“It’s hard to imagine not being in that studio anymore,” Conour said. “This isn’t a goodbye to storytelling or creativity—it’s merely a necessary step for my mental health and a new beginning. I’ve loved Life 102.5 deeply, but it’s time to care for myself in the same way I’ve tried to care for my audience all these years.”

Beyond the studio, Dave is also a talented stage actor, marathon runner, and a proud member of the Stoughton Village Players community theater group, where he serves as Vice President of the board.

As for what’s next?

His departure marks the end of an era, but not of his creativity. Fans can expect to hear more from Dave in other ways—from the theater stage to potential podcasting projects.

Dave shared, “As a final thought, face your mental health head on. Whether it’s a school shooting or a childhood event that you forgot about that introduces you to anxiety, get support from people you trust. You are not alone. We’ll get through this together. You now have my email address. Use it. And, chase authenticity like your life depends on it. Because I believe it does.”

Dave’s last day on Life 102.5 is 7/11/25.
