A new survey shows that U.S. families plan to spend more than $500 on school supplies for their kids. For Dane County’s most vulnerable families, many of those items are out of reach. Lindsay Bohms of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County highlights an upcoming drive to help those children. She also discusses other BGCDC programs aimed at serving the community.
Middleton Group Bringing Hope to Haiti
As Haiti continues to be gripped by gang violence, corruption and extreme poverty, a faith-based organization in Middleton is working to bring hope to one Haitian community. Executive director Tia Bunz and operations director Swenson Blanchard of the Fond Blanc Foundation share how God is working through a school the group supports. They also discuss how you can help their efforts through their upcoming fundraiser, The Rally On the Runway, at Middleton’s Morey Field.
