This September it will be 7 years since my Mom passed away. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her. I learned many things from my Mom but there were two things she always said. When any exciting news was shared with her she would raise her arms and say, “Praise the Lord!” And when things were hard, she would say, “This too shall pass.” My Mom had so much faith in God and I did not always see it until I got older. My Mom was a prayer warrior for family, friends, and strangers. When she chose not to have any further treatment, she spoke to each of us at the end and her message to me was that she wanted me to take over being the prayer warrior for the family. I remember telling her that I didn’t know if I had that kind of faith! I am still in awe of the peace and faith she had at the end knowing she was going home. Praising the Lord for my Mom!
