Since the day I was born (well, nine months before that to be exact), my mother has always been there. Whether it’s packing school lunches, tidying up the house, or comforting me when I fail, my mom is the engine that keeps the house running. I am so, so appreciative of everything she’s done for me, and wanted to share that here.
It is common for people to notice and praise those who fix mistakes that were made, but it is rare for those who simply put in the effort to not make the mistake in the first place to be recognized. This is why I feel it is so important that I write this. Stay-at-home mom is a mostly thankless occupation, and I wish wholeheartedly that this would not be the case.
So thank you, mom, for putting up with my mistakes. Thank you for working hard to mostly avoid making your own mistakes. But most importantly, thank you for always being there for me. Wishing you 1 fantastic mother’s day and 364 fantastic other ones. 🙂
