When I was in elementary school, I lived just a few blocks from the elementary school. I would come home for lunch sometimes and my mom and I would have a tea party. She had a special platter that she would have the lunch in. We would sit in the bay window and have our tea party. It was a special time that was just me and my mother. It made me feel special (something that didn’t happen a lot when I was growing up) I still enjoy drinking tea to this day.

As Haiti continues to be gripped by gang violence, corruption and extreme poverty, a faith-based organization in Middleton is working to bring hope to one Haitian community. Executive director Tia Bunz and operations director Swenson Blanchard of the Fond Blanc Foundation share how God is working through a school the group supports.
